5th Place at ICMTC UAVC 2024

Our UAV team participated in the 8th International Competition of the Military Technical College (ICMTC 2024). In the first missions day of the competition our UAV crashed which required us to continue manufacturing another unfinished model we had. We had no time to hesitate so all the team gathered, with mentors and alumni joining the challenge. By the next day a perfectly finished UAV was successfully built and participated in the last mission in the competition and with manual control completed the mission successfully. It was an unforgettable experience in a mixed atmosphere of tension, pressure, anxiety, anticipation and determination.
The International Competition of the Military Technical College (ICMTC), held in Cairo under the Lt. General Ibrahim Selim Award for Innovation, is an annual event that brings together students from engineering faculties and research centers to showcase their creativity and technical skills. The competition challenges participants to design, build, and test unmanned systems—both autonomous and remotely operated—while also covering fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, unmanned ground and maritime vehicles, and advanced composite structures.
